What is it with metal and cats?

Metalheads are tough blokes, as we all know. Right? Right. So why then do so many of them seem to love little cute purry kittycats?

Simple answer: Because they are the real metal freaks! But honestly, I think, cats and metal go well together. Metal cat owners appreciate cats’ independent and easy-going lifestyle because it goes hand in hand with their own… A pet and a purr here and there, food and a meow, that’s all both need.

It doesn’t stop at metal, even the Hardcore kids are getting into it with youtube clips and with Mike from the Hoods posting quite often about his cats. I’m sure if you look there are plenty of bands out there that love to use cat memes to push their shit.
