NotFound Interview

13/08/2012 in Music, Punk

This one is for those punkers that grew up in the 90s and fell in love with that dark style that bands like Alkaline Trio took to the big stages. NotFound are based in Torino, Italy and have been around since 2001, so they’re not strangers to the world punk scene. Bedtime For Charlie

27/06/2012 in Music, Punk

I love my skate punk music and when I came across these guys, I must admit, I got a bit excited. My find was thanks to a record label based in Italy called No Reason Records and when I got chatting to Giacomo, shit started getting real. Bedtime For Charlie are based in Rome, Italy and remind me of bands like Lagwagon, Strung Out, Millencolin and Radicus. Bedtime For Charlie maintain their style really well and I really like these guys. Recently I reviewed their album “Bright Light City Skyline” and  they also feature in the tribute album to Much The Same called “A Tribute To Much The Same” which is a compilation of other artist like Symphony Of Distraction and Cleave. I really think people will be hearing more from these guys in the near future.

Strength Approach

28/11/2011 in Hardcore, Music

Ok readers, these guys deserve more credit than what they get, been bumping the tunes since 1996 and gone through more band members than a brothel does girls. These guys are coming from Italy and they are hardcore! With influences like Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All, Madball, Cro-Mags, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Misfits, H2O and Terror. So if you’re into hardcore, you’d be an idiot not to check these guys out!
