Vanity Riots launch Ep at Lita Ford after party this weekend!
This weekend, guitar legend and icon Lita Ford will be playing the first of two shows in Australia, at Sydney’s Factory Theatre. If you’ve missed out on tickets or looking to keep the party going after the show, head to the Sly Fox on Enmore Road where the official Lita Ford after party will be held thanks to Blue Palm Touring.
The after party kicks off around 9pm and entertaining you at the venue will be 3 Aussie hard rock bands – Vanity Riots (Syd), Rattlesnake (Syd) and Kill Shott (Melb). The night will be a big one for Sydney female-fronted hard rock act Vanity Riots who are launching their new EP, Ambulance. The EP has already received rave reviews with one critique commenting that the release is “One of the best E.P.s that I’ve heard and one of the best bands that I’ve heard in a long time. Why bands like this remain unsigned and so many lousy bands continue to have success is beyond me.”
So head down to the Sly Fox for plenty of free CDs given away and a chance to win a double pass to Gilby Clark’s (Ex Guns n’ Roses) upcoming show.

You thought FR only had one tour left in ‘em? Now they have tumour! At least that was the gag we had ready to go before doctors discovered it wasn’t a tumour, just tapeworm larvae in Jay’s head. After Valentines Day Brain surgery Jay doesn’t feel he has retained any mental or physiological deficits, but only time will tell! Perhaps the slice will be taken from his golf swing. Friend Clem thinks Jay will become racist. The quality of the shows and the very future of the group are hard to predict, so Gordy has begun work on a fallback plan… a Children’s book entitled “Santa Whalley: He seizure while you’re sleeping”, just in case things don’t pan out.
Long time Australian metal and rock Promoter and Publicist, Chris Maric, has launched his new company, Maric Media.
It’s official! Dan Cribb has signed to the mighty Pee Records ahead of his debut EP release, The Memories Last. The EP will officially be released on the 19th of July through Pee and will be available at all the usual locations.
